Our website is our live catalog! Because our styles and inventory stay up to date online, we don’t print a physical catalog. We recommend starting by checking out our most popular hat styles and browsing some of our apparel options to find the perfect fit.
Don’t see exactly what you’re looking for? Just ask! We have access to a massive selection of gear beyond what is shown on our website, and your designer will be happy to help you source the perfect item for your project.
Starting a project is easy! To get connected with a personal designer who will help you every step of the way, just fill out our quote request form with your ideas.
From there, our process follows a few simple steps:
- Design & Quote: Your designer will send you a custom mockup and price quote. You can work together to make any adjustments until it matches your vision.
- Invoice & Payment: Once you love the design, you can request your invoice and submit payment.
- Patch Approval: About 1 to 2 weeks after payment, you will receive a photo proof of your physical patch to review and approve that it matches the mockup.
- Production & Delivery: Once approved, your order goes into production. After a final quality check, we ship your custom gear straight to your door!

Yes, we can mix & match hat styles/colors in quantities of (12) within one project. For example, an project with (24) hats would allow up to two different hat styles, or the same style hat in two different colors.
Because we are classified as an apparel embellisher, we cannot sell blank hats on their own.
If you would like to test the fit and feel of the quality beforehand, we recommend checking retail platforms like Amazon for similar blank styles from the manufacturer. You can also check out our sample shop to purchase hat samples with our CPH-branded patches.
If you’re interested in receiving a sample hat with your own patch or logo, we can make that happen. The turnaround time for custom sew-out samples is approximately 5 weeks from the time your invoice is paid. Pricing for these samples ranges from $100–$200 each, depending on the patch material (fabric, leather, PVC) & there is a maximum of (3) hats allowed. Shipping is complimentary within the continental U.S. If you move forward with a full order, we’ll credit 75% of the sample cost toward your final invoice. This option allows you to review the finished hat before we begin full production.
Alternatively, we recommend checking out our CPH sample hats. These feature our company patches on a variety of hat styles, giving you a feel for different materials and fits before committing to a bulk order. These typically ship within 2–3 days of purchase.
Absolutely! A few weeks after payment, we will send you a photo of your patch to review. If you ordered fabric patches, we will wait for your approval before making the rest. For Leather, PVC, or TPU/Silicone, we will send you a photo of your finished patch sample.
This step is just to make sure the physical patch matches your original mockup. If we made a mistake, we will gladly fix it! Just keep in mind that we can’t make new designs or artwork changes at this stage, so please make sure your design is 100% finalized before paying your invoice.

Each patch is carefully aligned by our team using placement guides and quality checks before it’s stitched down. We take great care to ensure everything is straight and clean, and every hat is fully stitched for long-term durability.
At this time, we only fulfill full-service orders that include both the hats/apparel/accessories and your custom patch. Because our production resources are dedicated to fully finished gear, we are unable to sell or ship patches on their own. We apologize for any inconvenience!
Yes! You are completely free to brand and resell your custom gear under your own label without requiring special permission from the hat or apparel manufacturer. However, if you are including gear from premium retail brands (like Carhartt, Nike, or The North Face) in your project, those manufacturers have strict brand-protection guidelines. Your designer will let you know if there are any issues with your artwork.
As a reseller, please also remember to send over your tax-exempt information to your designer before paying your invoice.
The pricing listed on our website is the same for all clients, and we do not offer separate wholesale accounts.
Instead, our savings are built into our bulk discount tiers—the more gear you order, the bigger your discount will be!
We offer a 5% discount (up to 100 hats) to registered non-profit organizations and active-duty military members. To apply the discount, please provide a copy of the appropriate documentation (such as proof of nonprofit status or active-duty verification) to your designer before we finalize your project.
We also built our savings into our bulk discount tiers—the more gear in your project, the bigger your discount will be!
Per the Supreme Court ruling, we must charge sales tax on orders unless your organization is tax-exempt. If you are tax-exempt, please provide a copy of your tax-exempt certificate to your CPH designer before your order is finalized.

Since we order all the materials for your custom project up front, we require full payment before production begins. However, we are happy to help you split the total between two different credit cards if needed—just ask your designer when you’re ready to pay!
Turnaround times vary based on the patch type and project details but typically can run anywhere from 2-6 weeks. For the most accurate timeline, please refer to our quote form.
Our shipping rates depend on the product type and quantity. We ship the majority of our orders via UPS Ground.
Continental United States
- Custom Hats: $20 for every 50 hats.
- Straw Hats, Apparel, & Accessories: $30 for every 25 items.
Alaska, Hawaii, & International
If you are located outside the continental U.S., we will provide a custom shipping quote before your order is officially placed.
Yes, we do! Please note that because our patch hats and apparel are custom-made, all international orders outside the US are final sale (no returns, exchanges, or cancellations). Additionally, any customs fees, duties, or taxes applied at the border are not included in our pricing and must be paid by the recipient.
No, all international duties, taxes, and customs fees are the buyer’s responsibility. The destination country’s customs authority determines these fees, which are typically due upon delivery. We recommend contacting your local customs office for an estimate before placing an order.

At CPH, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Since our products are made-to-order and customized, by accepting your order and making payment, we commit to producing the entire project. However, if there are errors with your order, we are always committed to making things right.

While all of our design, finishing, and shipping takes place in Raleigh, North Carolina, we source materials from trusted partners around the world to ensure we use the highest-quality products available. For clients who prefer it, we also offer 100% American-made hat options and are happy to work with you to accommodate that request.
Below are a few tips for cleaning your patch hats;
- Never put the hat in the washing machine or dishwasher – the wash cycles and soaps are too aggressive and are more likely to damage your hat than not.
- Spot-clean or hand-wash with laundry detergent if the dirt/stain is fresh or confined to a small area.
- For cotton hats (most truckers and dad hats), gentle handwashing with laundry detergent on an occasional basis is recommended.
- For polyester hats (most performance-style hats), we recommend rinsing them in the sink or shower after sweaty wear. A little spot cleaning and handwashing work well for these hats, too.
- Only air-dry your hats; never put them in the dryer.
- Try not to saturate leather patches when hand-washing or rinsing. Regular soaking of leather can cause staining, warping, or increased wear on the leather patch.
Yes! While most apparel products can withstand standard washing and drying, the following care instructions are designed to help maximize your garment’s longevity.
General Care (All Apparel)
- Wash: Inside out, on Gentle/Delicate with Cold Water only. Never use hot water or bleach.
- Load Size: Small loads are best to reduce soaking and friction.
- Dry: Air drying is always safest. Otherwise, tumble dry on Low Heat or Air Fluff.
Care by Patch Type
- Silicone & TPU: Wash in cold water only—air-dry silicone (no fabric softener). TPU can be dried on low heat. Never iron directly on Silicone, TPU, or PVC.
- Laser-engraved Leather: Avoid washing. Moisture causes warping and stains. Do not wash laser-engraved leather. (For water-resistant options, choose stamped or performance leatherette.
- Direct Embroidery: Wash in cold water and air-dry to minimize natural fabric shrinkage and puckering.
