When is the 250th Anniversary of America?
The nation’s 250th birthday hits on July 4, 2026. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime milestone (the ‘Semiquincentennial’ if you want to get fancy) and it’s going to be an epic celebration of red, white, and blue.

There are plenty of ways to bring the stars and stripes to your gear, depending on what you’re going for.
Keep it simple
If you want your logo to stay front and center, we can upgrade your hat with an American flag on the side or back of your hat or on a sleeve of apparel. We’ve got various patch border colors to make sure it complements your main logo patch design.

Take it up a notch
Want to weave the flag into your brand? If your brand guidelines allow, our designers can help you recolor your logo with a patriotic palette. We’ve also seen patch designs where stars are replaced with logos, or the flag sits proudly right above your company name.
Another option is overlaying a waving flag pattern onto your logo using printed TPU applique. Just ask your designer to add the pattern for a look even Uncle Sam would approve of.
TPU is a sleek, thin rubber-plastic hybrid that can be heat-pressed directly to your gear for a seamless look or added to a twill backing and hand-stitched. We’d pick a favorite, but that’s like asking if we want a hot dog or a hamburger at the summer BBQ. It all comes down to personal preference (but also, can we just order both?).

Let the flag lead the way
If you’d prefer your logo to take a backseat to the flag, we love the look of a classic flag patch up front with your business name added to the side or back in clean, direct embroidery.

The Richardson 112 trucker is the gold standard and our most popular hat by far. While the original R112 comes in countless navy, red, and white combinations, they also offer some unique variations to step up your game for the big anniversary.
